I put this as a one star review so that people looking for a quick look at this book can understand what they are going to read...... I don't mind people reading what they like to read....and I gave this the old college try......and then I just couldn't go on..... I picked up this book on a .99 deal......this book is pretty vile, but the subjecct of demons and evil can be vile....so as I stated before I gave this book real effort...... ******** Big content spoiler******* so that people can understand the author' s style...... I read the book up to the point where the demon horse raped the dying man........ that was when I was done with the book.... So......that is the kind of subject matter in this serious.....feel free to read it if that appeals to you......

I liked the new take on monsters and such in our world. This would make a good HULU series. Looking forward to reading how Drake takes out the assassin.

This book is by no means my usual taste in reading. A kinda bizarre dark story of intreaging weird characters, but once I got into it, thoroughly compelling reading, I absolutely enjoyed this book, the story, the characters, the twists, slightly barking mad, but a recommended good read.

There were a lot of fun characters getting into all sorts of action in this book. It made sense with all the new arrivals that the world was heading downhill, and the characters did their best to still get through their days. I enjoyed this book and recommend it. I am also glad to see this is a series, as there should be a lot more fun to be read in future books.

I am very glad I chose this book. The characters are well developed and the plot is entertaining. I can't wait to dive into the next book.
